Population growth and ongoing projects

The main agricultural crops of Gbangbégouiné-Yati are cassava and rice. Although cassava and rice are often cultivated together, it is not always the case, but this practice provides complementary agricultural production. In addition to these food crops, there are also coffee, cocoa, and rubber plantations, though their production remains modest compared to other regions of the country.
